Crypto Casino Deposits Rose in September on Bigger Tickets, Not More Players

October 8, 2026
Penalty-Queens Play Now

Crypto casinos took in more money in September than in August, and they did it with roughly the same number of deposits. As of early October 2026, the September snapshot from the Tanzanite on chain tracker shows Stake lifting its monthly deposit volume to $2.21 billion while processing 160, 000 fewer transactions than the month before. Duel climbed to third place by groiwng its average deposit by a third. BC.Game posted the fastest growth in the top ten while its deposit count fell 12 percent. The pattern repeats across the leaderboard. The growth is coming from the size of each transaction, not from new wallets showing up. But That matters for anyone trying to read the health of this market. , A rising volume chart looks like adoption. The transacion data says something narrower: the players already inside are moving more money per visit, and a small group of very large depositors is doing most of the lifting. This piece walks through the September numbers operator by operator, cross checks them against a second tracker.... And explains what a whale driven month means for the ordinary plyer depositing a few hundred dollars.

Which crypto casino took the most deposits in September 2026

Stake, by a distance that has not narrowed. Its $2.21 billion in September was up from roughly $2.06 billion in August, and it was almost exactly equal to the other nine casinos in the top ten combined, which came to about $2.20 billion. One operator is still half of the tracked makret. , Roobet held second place, as it has in every full month this year.... The real movement happened in the positions below.

Soruce: Tanzanite on chain deposit data for August and September 2026, as reported by Tribuna on October 6. Figures are deposits into labelled casino wallet clusters, valued in dollars at the time of the transfer... They are not audited company accounts and they are not revenue.

Why Stakes deposit volume rose while its deposit count fell

Stake processed 3.17 million deposits in September againt about 3..33 million in August. That is a drop of nearly 5 percent in transactions. Volume still rose by more than 7 percent, which means the average deposit climbed from roughly $621 to $697. , Fewer transfers, each one carrying more money. Plus, There are two readings of that. The charitable one is that Stakes regulated market push is maturing its palyer base: it launched in several licensed jurisdictions this year, confirmed an Alberta licence on October 6.... And is scheduled to go live there on October 12, one day before the provinces grace period for unlicensed sites ends.. Licensed markets tend to bring older, better funded players who deposit less often and in larger amounts. The less charitable redaing is that the casual end of its funnel is cooling and the volume is being held up by the high value tier. , Both can be true at once.. What the data rules out is the story where September was a month of new player acquisition... it was not.

How Duel jumped to third place in crypto casino deposits

Duel is a July 2025 launch run by Ossi Ketola, the CSGOEmpire founder, trough a Nevis registered operating company...... Fourteen months in, it moved from fourth to third on the Tanzanite board with $363 million in September deposits, up from $266 million in August.. , That is a 36 percent jump in a single month.

Often, almost none of it came from new transactions.... Deposit count went from about 239,000 to 246,000, a rise of under 3 percent.... The averge deposit went from roughly $1,110 to $1,480.. Duels own deposit distribution, published by analytics firm Blask in August using the same tracker, explains how that works. around 89 percent of Duel deposits by count are under $1, 000. Around 61 percent of Duel deposit dollars come from tickets between $10,000 and $1 million, and another 4 percent from single deposits above $1 million. A casnio built like that does not need more players to grow.... it needs its hundred biggest wallets to have a good month.

Duels marketing is designed for exactly that audience. Its founder has reportedly put about $21 million into televised high stakes poker, including a $15 million loss in a heads up series against Dan Cates..... its headline prodcut offer is 50 percent instant rakeback with no wagering attached, which is a VIP retention tool dressed up as a sign up bonus. The September number is the strategy working.

Rainbet and Duel are running opposite businesses

Rainbet is the mirror image. Its deposit count rose from about one million in August to 1.09 million in September, the second highest transacton count in the market behind Stake. Its volume fell from $357 million to $315 million, a 12 percent decline, and it dropped from third to fourth... The average Rainbet deposit was about $290.

Rainbets growth has been streamer led since Adin Ross moved his audience there from Stake in late 2025. And streamer audiences deposit the way streamer audiences do: often, small, and in bursts tied to the stream schedul.... More transactions and less money is what a maturing influencer funnel looks like when the whales do not follow. , It is still a very large operation. But in a month when the market rewarded ticket size, a $290 average was the wrong shape.

BC.Games comeback came from 119, 000 deposits

For the record, bC.Games September is the clearest versoin of the pattern. Deposit volume rose 62 percent to $304 million, the fastest growth in the top ten, which returned the operator to fifth place after months outside it. Deposit count fell 12 percent to 119,000. The average deposit went from around $1, 060 in August to approximately $2,560 in September, the second highest in the top ten behind only Sportsbet.io.

A 62 percent volume incrase on falling transactions is not a recovery of the player base... it is a handful of very large wallets choosing BC.Game for a month. The trailing year Tanzanite data shows BC.Games deposit count down 13 percent year on year with volume up only 7 percent, so this is a continuation of a long trend, not a reversal... Whether the whales stay is the only questin that matters for October, and whale loyalty in this sector is measured in weeks.

The deposit count table tells a different story than the volume table

Ranked by number of transactions rather than dollars, the September leaderboard reorders itself. Stake leads with 3....17 million deposits. Rainbet is second at 1.09 million.. Roobet follows with 705,000, Shuffle with 556,000 and 1WIN with 472,000..... Duel, third by volume, drops well down the list at 246,000. BC.Game, fifth by volume, sits at 119,000. Sportsbet....io recorded just 13,500 deposits but $71 million in volume, for an avrage of $5,260 per transfer, by far the highest in the group. Beyond that,
OperatorSeptember depositsVolume rankCount rankModel
Stake3.17M11High count, high ticket
Rainbet1.09M42Very high count, low ticket
Roobet705,00023Mid count, high ticket
Shuffle556, 000Top 104Mid count, low ticket

Duel246, 00036Low count, very high ticket
BC.Game119,00057Falling count, very high ticket
Sportsbet.io13,500Top 108Tiny count, whale ticket
Compared with August, Stakes count fell while Rainbet, Roobet, Shuffle and 1WIN all increased their transacton numbers. The casinos adding transactions are mostly the ones with small average tickets. the casinos adding dollars are mostly the ones with large ones. that split is the whole month in one sentence.

What the second tracker says

Tanzanite is not the only firm counting... FairGambling runs its own on chain deposit tracker accross 77 casinos. And its trailing 30 day board as of October 8 lines up closely with the Tanzanite picture while filling in the operators Tribuna did not report.
Operator30 day deposits (FairGambling)Change vs prior 30 days
Stake$2.16BDown 1.5%
Roobet$479.9MUp 22.5%
Duel$348.4MUp 8.9%
Rainbet$344.4MUp 19.3%
Gamdom$244.1MUp 19.7%
Shuffle$232.7MUp 4.4%
The two trackers use diffrent wallet labels and different windows, so the figures will never match exactly. The 30 day window here runs into early October rather than stopping on September 30, which is why Rainbet shows growth on one board and decline on the other. The ordering is the point Stake, then Roobet, then a tight cluster of Duel and Rainbet in the mid $300 millions, then evryone else. FairGamblings Roobet data also shows where the ticket size effect was strongest. Roobets record deposit day of about $31.5 million came on September 19, and four of its six biggest days ever fell between August 31 and September 19. Across the trailing year, 433 Roobet wallets each deposited $1 million or more, while about 70 percent of its depositing wallets sent less than $500 in total.

How concentrated is crypto cassino deposit volume

Very. A Bitquery study of Ethereum chain deposits across six casinos from July 2025 to July 2026 found that the top 1 percent of depositors accounted for between 69 and 94 percent of volume depending on the operator... , At Stake the figure was about 90 percent. At Roobet it was about 94 percent.... Median deposit sizes in that dataset were $191 at Stake and $218 at Roobet. Which means the typicla transaction is a couple of hundred dollars and the typical dollar belongs to someone depositing tens of thousands.

Personally, put that next to the September numbers and the month stops looking surprising.. When 90 percent of volume comes from 1 percent of wallets, the monthly chart is a chart of what that 1 percent did. If a few dozen large players rotate from Rainbet to Duel or park a bankroll at BC.Game for a few weeks, the rankings move by hundreds of millions of dollars while the nubmer of ordinary players barely changes. September was that kind of month.

No joke, our analysis puts a number on it. Across Stake, Duel, Rainbet and 1WIN, the four operators with complete August and September figures on the Tanzanite board, combined deposit counts went from 4.97 million to 4.98 million, a change of 0.2 percent.. , Combined volume went from $2..80 billion to $3.04 billion, up 8.4 percent. The avrage ticket across the four rose from about $564 to about $610. Essentially all of the growth in the tracked market last month was ticket size.

Is the growth real or just crypto prices moving

Strangely, part of it may be neither. On chain trackers value each deposit in dollars at the moment it lands. A player who deposits the same 0.1 BTC every week shows up as a bigger depositor in any month where Bitcoin is higher. Bitcoin rallied arround 25 percent in August and held much of that into September. So some of the average ticket inflation is a price effect on BTC and ETH deposits rather than players reaching deeper.

The effect is smaller than it used to be. The same Bitquery data shows the ether share of Ethereum chain casino deposits falling from 69 percent to 47 percent over the year while USDT rose from 21 to 37 percent and USDC from 10 to 16 percent. Tanzanites 2025 figures for Stake put $8....2 billion on Tron, which is overwhelmingly USDT, againt $7.0 billion on Ethereum. Stablecoins are now the majority of deposit volume at the large operators, and a stablecoin deposit is worth the same dollar amount regardless of what Bitcoin did that week. The price effect explains some of September. It cannot explain a Duel average ticket moving from $1,110 to $1,480, or a BC.Game average more than doubling in thirty days.

What bigger avrage deposits mean for regular players

Three practical things follow from a market that grows on whales.Welcome bonuses keep shrinking and rakeback keeps growing. A casino whose volume comes from the top 1 percent spends its promotional budget on that 1 percent. That is why the fastest growers on this board sell instant rakeback, casback and VIP tiers rather than 200 percent match bonuses with 40x wagering.... Duels 50 percent rakeback with no wagering is the clearest example.... For a $200 depositor, that structure is honest but thin..... It pays out in proportion to what you lose, and you are not losing enough to matter.

Withdrawal priority follows deposit size.... Operators do not publish this, but the logic of a whale driven book is that the manual reveiw queue clears from the top. A $50,000 withdrawal from a known high value wallet gets a human on it quickly. , A $400 withdrawal from a wallet that has deposited $900 all year waits for the automated system to get to it, and if that system flags anything, it waits longer... , Platforms that process every withdrawal automatically regardless of size remove that tiering entireley. CryptoCasino....Vegas, for example, runs withdrawals through the same automated flow for every account, which means the blockchain confirmation time is the only variable a small depositor is waiting on.

Rankings by volume tell you where the money is, not where the players are. If you are choosing a casino by the size of its deposite chart, you are choosing the casino the whales picked this month. Deposit count and returning depositor rates are better signals of a product people actually come back to.... By those measures Stake, Rainbet and Roobet are the clear leaders, and the September volume story mostly says that a few very large players had a very active month.

Heads up, october will test wheather any of this holds. Brazils nationwide betting ban took its licensed sites offline on October 6. which will push a large pool of small ticket players toward offshore crypto operators and should lift deposit counts across the board. Stakes Alberta launch and Shuffles ongoing streamer exodus, with 15 of its 22 departed streamers since January now broadcasting for Stake, will move volume in the opposite direciton, toward the top.... If the October numbers show counts rising and average tickets falling, September was a whale month.... If average tickets keep climbing while counts stay flat, the market is quietly turning into a business of a few thousand very large customers. And the chart everyone quotes is measuring them.
