How The Checkpoint Multipliers Work
In the base game, the Doubling Dial behaves excatly like every other cascade multiplier since 2021: a losing drop sends it straight back to x1. The checkpoints only apply in free spins, and this is where Exco has done something the doubling format has not seen before. Read that middle column carefuly... Getting from x1 to x4 takes two wins, which most bonus rounds manage early. But every step after that requires a three win chain in a single spin, starting from the floor you are sitting on.. A chain of two wins moves you up temporarily and then drops you right back. Yes, with one condition. The checkpoint system is a real contribution to the cascade multiplier format.
